It is what everyone is talking about. You put on your TV, you have it. You get to your office, your neighborhood, or the grocery store, you see the signs everywhere. Even the way you dress and cover your nose when going to a public place reflects it. There is no doubt that the COVID-19 pandemic has reshaped the lives of everyone on this planet. While the lockdown and social distancing measures adopted globally have raised so many issues, the new effort by the political establishment and the big pharma to make coronavirus vaccination mandatory for everyone is deeply troubling.

Power-grab by the political establishments

For the past 10 months, we have seen and experienced several unconstitutional actions taken by governments in the so-called effort to contain the spread of the virus. The result has been a myriad of conflicting and confusing orders — lockdown, border closure, border reopening, easing, re-impositions, fines, bans, and threats — all of which have limited our right to a free world.

Limiting our freedom has also meant a power grab by the governments. So many have been denied their fundamental human rights to freedom: people have been illegally jailed, and children have been taken from their parents, with many lives lost as a result of the brutal enforcement of the lockdown measures. As if those weren’t enough, governments and political elites, in collusion with the big pharma are now pushing for the compulsory and forceful vaccination of people, regardless of their consent or religious beliefs. The call for this mandatory vaccination has particularly risen since the approval of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine.

Get vaccinated or have your freedom taken away

Sure, vaccines help to prevent diseases, and in this case, COVID-19. But the fact that the vaccine might be protective against COVID-19 cannot be a justification for a forceful vaccination of people, especially when their immune system is strong and may have developed a natural immunity (herd immunity) to the virus. Furthermore, forcing apparently healthy people across the world to take a vaccine against their will is mischievous. In fact, after the Nuremberg Trials, it has been forbidden to take such actions.

The planned mandatory coronavirus vaccination is not only troubling but unprecedented! Yet, ‘vaccine passports’ are becoming a welcome idea that is being considered by governments across the world. When implemented, you may be required to present the so-called passport before gaining access to public and private spaces, such as churches, restaurants, or public transport. For instance, the Australian airline, Qantas, became one of the first airlines to announce that they would soon implement a policy that would allow only vaccinated passengers to board its flights. Furthermore, people without the ‘vaccine passport’ will be restricted from doing business, travel, and even denied their benefits as citizens. A definite violation of people’s rights! Moreover, such clauses come in contradiction with the PCR tests which would pick the vaccine antigens as though they are real viral antigens, giving the person a positive test result.

The exploitation of people’s fears to take away their rights

One of the things which have contributed to how we get to this point of obvious authoritarianism is FEAR. Fear of the pandemic has spread more than the virus itself. And, there is also the fear of the unknown. People are afraid of losing their jobs. There is also the fear of family being segregated, homes quarantined, educations halted, and businesses shuttered. In a climate of fear, many are willing to let go of their rights and freedom. An environment of fear makes people agree and conform to any policy, no matter how ridiculous. Nobody wants to die or to be sick. Many want the pandemic to be over and get back to their business and lives. And with the mainstream media and medical ‘experts’ spreading fear daily, people have started even accepting the idea of suspending their constitutional rights. This fear has enabled governments and political elites as well as the unelected ‘experts’ to grab more powers for themselves. They have realized what fear can accomplish and are willing to use it to achieve their aim. At some point, the talk was about flattening the curve, and we would return to normal life, or so we were told. But the curve has come and gone. Now it is about the vaccine. A vaccine has been developed, and mandatory vaccination is the “in-thing”. But even forced vaccination may not bring a return to our normal lives. They will then find another way to keep us locked and take more of our freedoms.

Plot to make the ‘non-compulsory’ compulsory

With people pushing back against mandatory vaccination, the plan might shift to not make vaccination directly mandatory, but instead, the governments would institute policies that would make it all but impossible to avoid the vaccine. So, even if you are not forced to take the vaccine, you might be bribed, blackmailed, and coerced into doing so eventually.

For instance, Australia already has in place a “no vaccination, no play and no vaccination, no pay” legislation, which requires children to be immunized to receive certain government benefits. For low-income and working parents, this makes vaccination all but mandatory. The same policy could be applied with the coronavirus vaccine but on a larger scale. But even at that, the government has made known its intention to make coronavirus vaccination mandatory. “I would expect it to be as mandatory as you possibly could make it”, Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrisson, said while talking about the coronavirus vaccine. “There are always exceptions for any vaccine on medical grounds, but that should be the only basis.” He later took back the comment after facing a backlash, but this shows the intention of the political establishment.

In New York, the United States, a lawmaker has proposed making COVID-19 mandatory for all residents. And in the UK, a group of scholars has also submitted a written request to the UK Parliament that mandatory vaccination should be implemented.

People’s consent and safety doubts about the vaccine

To be clear, the coronavirus vaccine could be beneficial to people who are sick and have weak immunity. It should be given to such people and those who willingly accept to receive the vaccine. Even a sick patient could choose not to take the vaccine, and his or her right should be respected. This would be in accordance with medical ethics and the oath of Hippokrates, which demands that the consent of a patient be sought before administering any form of treatment.

Moreover, concerns have been raised about safety, considering the speed with which the vaccine was developed. Vaccines typically take years to develop, but this one was produced in months. Even if there are no short-term effects, the potential for complications, months or years later exists. For this reason alone, the coronavirus vaccination ought not to be made mandatory.

The pertinent question

The question remains: is it constitutional to impose mandatory vaccination on everyone? The answer has to be a resounding no. It is illegal and unconstitutional for the political establishments to pass any law they want under the guise of a health emergency. To gain some perspective, Smallpox, one of the most lethal viruses in history, has a case fatality rate (CFR) of 30%. Tuberculosis has a higher CFR. COVID-19 is nowhere near these two diseases in terms of fatality rates. Coronavirus only severely affects an identified demographic — the elderly with underlying health conditions. Over 90% of those infected (those of age 60 and below without any health issue) will recover well without any need for hospitalization whatsoever. So, why do the world authorities want to take away people’s constitutional rights because of a disease that is no more than the common flu?

Crime against humanity

The constitution is the supreme law of the land, in which freedom of choice is established, amongst other things. Mandatory vaccination is therefore a breach of the constitution. In the EU, for instance, mandatory vaccines are a violation of Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights, namely, the right to private life. The same is true in several other countries of the free world. A mandatory COVID-19 vaccine might save lives, but that doesn’t mean it would be constitutional. Many tend to have the opinion that we must do what the doctors say, but they fail to understand that we all have the constitutional right to choose what goes into our bodies. The truth is, when you consider everything, there is no question that a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine would be a dangerous violation of people’s constitutional rights.

Moreover, forced vaccination is a violation of the Nuremberg Code, which was created to systemize the legal principles underlying the 1945 Nuremberg Trials of Nazi party members after World War II. The crime against humanity, as defined in the Nuremberg Code, committed by the Nazi party members, is similar to the actions currently underway under the guise of containing the COVID-19 pandemic with mandatory vaccination. The first of the 10 points in the Nuremberg Code specifically upholds the principle of voluntary consent, which the idea of mandatory vaccination violates.

Additionally, the idea of mandatory vaccination is against Article 6 of the UNESCO’s Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights in 2005, which are as follows:

Section 1: Any preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic medical intervention is only to be carried out with the prior, free, and informed consent of the person concerned, based on adequate information. The consent should, where appropriate, be express and may be withdrawn by the person concerned at any time and for any reason without disadvantage or prejudice.
Section 3: In no case should a collective community agreement or the consent of a community leader or other authority substitute for an individual’s informed consent.

Given these universally accepted principles of consent when dealing with bioactive materials, the idea of a vaccine passport being proposed around the world does not only violate the Nuremberg Code but also violates the right of an individual to choose what enters his/her body. Prosecuting those who choose not to take the vaccine is a complete violation of their constitutional rights to freedom.

Governments and political elites are misusing their powers to trample on people’s rights, taking unprecedented power for themselves, and merely acting as tools of the big pharma in their drive to make more profits at all cost. The government should work for the people, not the cooperate lobbyists that are currently controlling the parliaments and governments. All power resides with the people: it is the people who delegated those powers to the few individuals in government, and the people can (and should if necessary) take back the power from the few individuals. Now is the time to insist on our constitutional rights. This calls for more non-governmental medical practitioners and attorneys to be given the platform to speak up, take action, and clear the muddy waters surrounding the mandatory COVID-19 vaccine, and what it portends for our rights and liberty in the future.

Conclusion:

People’s constitutional rights are being taken away under the guise of fighting a virus. There is a need for the people to rise and demand that their rights be respected. Governments and health experts need to address the coronavirus crisis in a less intrusive and constitutional way. Everything we have come to know about COVID-19 does not call for the mandatory vaccination on an otherwise healthy and significant portion of the population. Even the rights of COVID-19 patients should not be violated nor civil liberties denied. Even if the vaccine is proven effective, its long-term safety must be addressed. Forceful vaccination is not only ethically wrong but unconstitutional. The message about its illegality needs to go to all corners of the world.
