Introduction
The World Economic Forum (WEF) recently concluded its annual summit, with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari delivering a speech that stirred controversy, accusing the WEF of pursuing a “new world order.” This critique reflects a broader sentiment challenging the effectiveness and transparency of the WEF in addressing global economic challenges. As we examine the outcomes of the summit, it becomes apparent that the world is facing increasing geopolitical tensions and conflicting priorities, making consensus on global issues challenging.
WEF – Lacking effectiveness and transparency
The World Economic Forum has not offered much guidance on resolving the growing economic turmoil in Europe. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari delivered a speech that has been criticized for “encouraging conspiracy theories.” His remarks about the WEF’s pursuit of a “new world order” have led to widespread speculation. It appears that according to Western journalism standards, any reference to the WEF’s objectives is often dismissed as a fanciful notion.
According to the Pakistani Foreign Minister, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the World Economic Forum is currently engaged in discussions about the future of the New World Order. Now that the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) yearly summit has concluded, it presents a good opportunity to reflect on the additional offerings provided by this platform. Firstly, Zardari highlights a “hyper-partisan” world that is gradually replacing the previous unipolar world dominated by the USA. This shift is a consequence of the economic strain and chaotic diplomacy surrounding the conflict in Ukraine, which has led to a decline in U.S. influence in the Middle East, including countries like Saudi Arabia and Syria.
In a multipolar world, the presence of BRICS – Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa – as a competing economic bloc poses challenges to implementing a global plan for surveillance and control. The WEF’s project appears to be hindered by this global shift, as seen in the absence of numerous world leaders at Davos for the first time in years.
Several Countries Opt Out from the Event
Several countries, including China, Russia, the USA, the U.K., France, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, chose not to send their leaders to the event. The USA, however, decided to send John Kerry, who is known for his eccentricity. His remarks at the event may have provided insight into why there are fewer attendees – it appears to be a gathering for individuals like him, who have had extraterrestrial experiences.
Ineffectiveness of the World Economic Forum in Preventing “De-Globalization”
In a Swiss publication from last year, the question was raised whether the World Economic Forum (WEF) can effectively prevent “de-globalization.” However, considering the current situation in 2023, it appears that the answer is negative. This development may be seen as positive news for individuals who oppose the idea of living in a technocratic dystopia, such as the one suggested by the World Health Organization pandemic treaty.
During the Davos forum, which brings together influential leaders from various fields, the director of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Gebreyesus, found himself in a rather surreal situation that left the attendees intrigued and inspired. Even though he actively participated in the forum, it is interesting to note that no mention was made of the serious accusations that have been levelled against him regarding his involvement in war crimes during his tenure as the health minister in Ethiopia. This omission raises questions about the transparency and accountability of such high-profile events.
One of the key topics discussed during the forum was the proposed treaty by the WHO, which is scheduled to be approved in May 2024. This treaty aims to address global health challenges and requires a majority vote from nations around the world. However, given the current state of global affairs, characterized by deep divisions, and opposing interests, it seems highly unlikely that a consensus can be reached on actions that would potentially limit national sovereignty and independence.
The world today is marked by a complex web of geopolitical tensions and conflicting priorities, making it increasingly challenging to find common ground on global issues. According to reports, the Forum mainly serves as a platform for politicians and state-level performers to promote themselves.
The Davos forum should function as a platform for constructive dialogue and cooperation, to reach impactful and effective agreements despite the existing diversity and polarization in the world. At the event, Polish President Andrzej Duda expressed apprehensions regarding the stability of Ukraine amidst the ongoing crisis.
He cautioned that Russia might be preparing for a new offensive in the upcoming months and urged countries to provide Ukraine with increased military support. President Duda emphasized the need for stronger action to aid Ukraine, stating that the current level of assistance was insufficient. There are indications that Poland might be mobilizing its army reserves and has demonstrated a strong commitment to supplying Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, indicating a potential interest in reclaiming previously held territories in Western Ukraine following its division.
The First Lady of Ukraine, Mrs. Yelena Zelensky, has recently advocated for increased financial and military support from countries like Germany. However, Germany has demonstrated praiseworthy prudence by refusing to escalate the conflict and declining to send their top armaments to Ukraine.
Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Union Commission, was keen on a photo opportunity alongside the Ukrainian First Lady. This desire for visibility, coupled with the pursuit of projecting a strong global influence, may be linked to the ongoing decline of the EU’s economy. The EU’s share of the global GDP has steadily diminished over the years, decreasing by half since 1980 when measured by purchasing power.

The minimal attention given to the global economic forum reveals the underlying agenda of Davos. It appears to function as a platform for the fantasies of the ambitious, whose disconnection from reality is thankfully coming to light.
To clarify this madness further, the World Economic Forum (WEF) provided a musical representation of the Spirit of Davos hat was just as strange and terrible in its presentation and content.
The Forum has transformed into a platform for showcasing unconvincing acts. Beyond the conference rooms, a distasteful show was set up for the media, featuring Greta Thunberg’s valiant criticism of a movement that aligns with her beliefs.
President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine was notably absent from the event. Nevertheless, he made an appearance at the WEF via video to present a 10-point peace plan. Unexpectedly, this plan was interpreted as a potential catalyst for a global conflict. Before expressing his doubts about the current status of Russian President Vladimir Putin as reported by Zelensky, a former TV comedian, made several pleas for Western involvement to escalate in the ongoing conflict.
The recent resignation of Alexei Arestovich, who was previously one of his top aides, seems to have influenced his messaging. Arestovich, who held the position of chief of propaganda, disclosed that the bombing of an apartment building in Dnipropetrovsk was not carried out by Russia but by Ukraine.
After his comments, he gave an interview where he acknowledged that the chances of Ukraine winning the war are low and there is a possibility of not surviving it. This is significant information coming from the esteemed ex-strategic Communications Advisor to the Ukrainian President, who was charged with high treason for speaking the truth.
Ron Klain, Chief of Staff for Joe Biden, Expected to Resign Soon
It has been reported that Ron Klain, the chief of staff for Joe Biden, is expected to resign soon. This news comes as a special counsel has been appointed to investigate documents concerning Biden’s involvement in Ukraine. The appointment of a special counsel suggests that the end of the U.S.’s involvement in the proxy war may be approaching. Klain’s resignation adds to the list of leaders who have lost key aides.
It is possible that the unexpected and lucky uncovering of the Biden files can be attributed to the deliberate manipulation of the president, who may be set up to take responsibility for a potentially significant failure in policy.
The previous week saw a significant number of new developments, although it lacked accurate predictions for the economy. Unfortunately, most of these updates were not favourable for the WEF’s aspirant leaders of the future.
Conclusion
Considering the latest WEF summit, it is evident that the forum faces criticism for its perceived disconnect from reality and its transformation into a platform for ambitious but unconvincing acts. The absence of key global leaders and the growing skepticism about the WEF’s ability to prevent “de-globalization” highlight the limitations of such high-profile gatherings. The decline in global attention to the economic forum reveals a potential underlying agenda that may not align with the urgent needs of a world grappling with complex challenges.
Call to action
As we reflect on the outcomes of the WEF summit, it is crucial to call for a reevaluation of the forum’s role in addressing pressing global issues. Policymakers, leaders, and citizens alike should demand greater transparency, accountability, and effectiveness from international platforms like the WEF. The need for constructive dialogue and cooperation, as opposed to fantastical displays, becomes evident in the face of geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainties. It is imperative to encourage platforms like Davos to refocus on substantive discussions and impactful agreements that address the real-world challenges confronting nations today. Only through such a recalibration can international forums genuinely contribute to positive global change.
